Art, Play & Community Pop-Up at Loyal Legion

Columbia Play Project invites families and community members to a pop-up fundraiser at the soon-to-be Loyal Legion Brew Pub in Vancouver, WA. Our mobile children’s museum will offer hands-on activities that explore the intersection of art and STEM, alongside gross-motor play experiences like big blue blocks.

Local artist Mike Bennett will be featured throughout the event, creating a live painting, engaging with children about creativity and inspiration, and sharing how artists like Eric Carle have influenced his work. The finished painting will be silent auctioned during the event, with all proceeds benefiting Columbia Play Project!

Guests are also invited to participate in a community museum naming survey, where they can vote on proposed names and offer suggestions as we plan for a permanent children’s museum in Vancouver.
